Apprentice Training: Back to School
As September kicks off, we’re also starting another year of Apprentice Training here at Serve Electric! New and exciting things are happening to empower our Apprentices and help them grow, including hiring our new Education Coordinator, Laura.
Our New Education Coordinator
One big step we took to improve our Apprentice Program this year was to hire Laura, Education Coordinator. Laura has taught various high school subjects for 10 years including physics, physical science, biology, chemistry, stem, and robotics. She has a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction, Education Specialist Degree and Administrative Certificate.
Improvements to the Apprentice Training Program
Laura’s expertise in curriculum and program development is allowing us to more efficiently empower our Apprentices by focusing on the most important subjects, integrating more hands-on and practical development, as well as implementing a Learning Management System to allow for more organization and transparency.
Elevating Our Apprentices
In our greater mission to elevate Serve Electric and the entire industry, we make training a top priority. Our Apprentice Training Program goes above and beyond the bare minimum requirements. We pride ourselves in creating not only great electricians, but great people too!
