“The best way to do ourselves good is to be doing good to others; the best way to gather is to scatter” – Thomas Brooks
At Serve Electric, we believe it is our greater mission and calling to serve others. Whether that be empowering an employee to grow, putting a customer’s needs first, or performing community service work, we make it our mission to live and breathe our name…not just wear it.
Recently, our team was called to serve 51:10 Youth Ranch in Colorado.
About 51:10 Youth Ranch
This organization helps children and families through equine therapy. The goal of the program is to pair each child with one horse and one leader to provide not only equine education, but a eternal, positive impact on that child’s life. In their words:
“Nothing is set in stone except that we want to love and mentor kids. We want to share the truth of The Lord, encourage and be available. Children will be influenced in society—good or bad. Our hope is that we can be that positive influence, even if just an hour and a half a week, to reflect Christ.”

So how does a team of industrial electricians help a equine therapy organization? By wiring up a house, of course! The family running the organization is currently in the process of builiding a home on the property. Eight of our team members flew out to Colorado and spent a few days in the chilly, yet beautiful setting, getting the house ready to go.

Other Ways We Serve
Serving the community is so important to us that in 2020 we decided to make it an official part of each of our team members’ lives. This year, we are giving a paid service day to each of our employees. Each employee gets to choose how they would like to use that day…igniting whatever they are passionate about.
We can’t wait to share those stories with you. It’s going to be a great year!
