In February of 2020, we gathered all three branches of our team under one roof for our first-ever All Company Meeting!
As our team continues to grow, we find it increasingly important to gather in-person to expand our team connection beyond the job site and individual branches. We gather to learn about each other as individuals, celebrate the work we’ve accomplished, and to feel a part of something greater than ourselves.

Inside the Meeting
Our meeting started with nothing business-related…simply sharing dinner and drinks as a team! This gave us time to connect with team members from different branches, put a face to a familiar name, or just catch up with friends.
The meeting itself, of course, covered business-related topics, but never too dry and serious! That said, we took plenty of time to celebrate each other as well.
There were two major highlights of this past meeting…
Â
First Highlight: Celebrating Team Member Anniversaries.
We honored 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10 and 15 year anniversaries.
Second Highlight: Honoring Community Service Work
One of our initiatives this year (and going forward) is offering paid service hours to our team. The first one to take up this offer was a Project Manager of our Sterling Heights Team. He became aware of a single-mom in Berkley, Michigan that was in need of electrical help throughout her house. Serve Electric supported him, and a few other team members, in his service by supplying the materials needed.
As a thanks, the Berkley Police Department of Public Safety honored Brett and the Serve Electric team at our meeting.

Looking forward to the next one!
We look forward to when we can gather as an entire team again. Not only was it great to cover work-related topics as a team, but the true benefit was having the team all under one roof celebrating all we’ve accomplished thus far.
