Note: Each month, each member of our team engages in classroom style and hands-on safety training on a particular topic.

Falls are the top cause of construction fatalities and account for one-third of on-the-job injury deaths in the industry.

Due to the nature of our work, our team is frequently at higher heights in order to get the job done. That said, it's critical our team is trained properly on how to work in these dangerous situations to avoid dangerous falls.

Training at the Branches

For optimal learning, our trainings are a combination of lecture-based and hands-on lessons. This training covered topics such as:

  • Inspecting fall protection equipment
  • Types of fall protection systems
  • How to wear a safety harness
  • Lanyards, life lines, snap hooks, anchorage points
  • And more

Implementing Training in the Field

Each job site requires different levels of PPE based on customer requirements or what exactly is being done on each site. In this photo, the team was required to wear hard hats, goggles/glasses, safety vests and of course, face masks amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
